luneshine weapon could only be green or higher due to that moonstone will guranteed a higher quality for every grind. The only tip I could give you is save your game, and grind. If you don't get a luneshine, altf4 and repeat until you do unless you're using a Mac. Luneshine hyperion beam weapons are OP. #2.

Grind those with a purple of the type of gun you want as per normal and do a luneshine grind. Save the game before you do your grind by going to your badass challenge points w/e menu and turning them off and back on real quick. The moonstone grind should cost about 213 moonstones at level 70.

The recipe to get X type of weapon is 1 purple weapon of desired type + 2 legendary weapons. If you add moonstone, it's guaranteed to be a Legendary but not all recipes will let you moonstone grind. You cannot do it with shields or class mods and you cannot do it with glitch weapons. I'm not sure for other recipes but this one is 210 moonstone.
