I didn't know sugar didn't dissolve in oil and I need help
Use chemistry: add enough water to dissolve the sugar, then mustard (it is a surfactant). edit: don't do it. (Another, lessfun possibility: coconut oil smokes at 177° while sugar caramelizes at 150°ish, so you might be able to caramelize the sugarandoil mixture.
