The Back to Basic assembles very differently than this Victorio VKP1012, and it is definitely not as good. I'm still looking for a hand operated grain mill. If Victorio would fix the attachment problem of the VKP1024 so that it would attach to a standard 1 inch counter overhang, I would definitely repurchase it.
After fixing the parts and placing the hand crank meat grinder on the tabletop or kitchen countertop, you can start using it for grinding the meat. Just by adding the meat pieces into the hopper you can turn the handle to get the minced meat. The auger, grinding plate, and the knife will do the entire job when you turn the handle.
